Palmarosa belongs to the Cymbopogon family (citronella and lemongrass) but has a high portion of geraniol giving it an aroma more similar to that of rose and geranium than to lemon.
Facial use: It is widely used in anti-acne treatments as it has the property to balance the sebum production.
